This should be all that is needed to keep your silk Cocoon Pure Silk Duvet fresh and clean.

Only use wet cleaning when absolutely essential.
Do not Dry Clean
Should your Cocoon Pure Silk Duvet require deeper cleaning, please follow these steps:
• Isolate the soiled area only.
• Hand wash with cold water and a very gentle liquid detergent washing agent. A combined hair shampoo/conditioner for dry hair can give good results.
(A special silk washing agent is also good, a wool mix agent is not recommended)
• Do not use bleach or strong detergents.
• Rinse thoroughly and squeeze excess water by pressing the two sides together.
• If total immersion is absolutely necessary, fold the doona onto a rectangle shape. Keep the quilt in this shape during the washing process at all times so as to not disturb the silk fill. Immerse it gently in a premix of cold water and mild liquid washing agent in your bath or shower recess. Press the water through the quilt with you hands so as to remove the soiling. Drain the water without moving the quilt. Press on the quilt with your hands progressively along the shape to remove the washing solution. If rinsing is necessary, without moving the quilt, refill with fresh water and repeat the process of pressing on the quilt with your hands and then drain. Once you've removed as much water as is practical with gentle hand pressure, carefully lift the quilt from underneath keeping it in its folded shape and place it evenly in your washing machine.
Set the machine to spin only and this will remove as much water as possible from the quilt.
Do not wash your doona in a washing machine as the agitation action combined with water will disturb the silk fill.
• Do not wring.
• Dry flat or hung over several sections of clothes line. Do not dry over a heater or expose to excessive radiant heat.
• Dry cleaning uses chemicals which may damage the silk and is not recommended.
• Do not tumble dry or iron.
Do not shake duvet inner strongly when wet as this may displace the hand layered silk floss.
Damage to your silk inner caused by incorrect care will void your limited warranty.
