Suzhou, formerly Romanized as Soochow, is a major city in the southeast of Jiangsu Province in Eastern China, adjacent to Shanghai Municipality. It is considered one of the richest major cities in China. The town of Suzhou the cradle of Wu culture is one of the oldest towns in the Yangtze Basin. Suzhou 苏州园林 (Su-zsho), the name also meaning Chinese traditional garden, has long been considered a highly productive rural centre.

The area of Jiangsu Province in Eastern China around Suzhou is world renowned for its high quality silk manufacturing and it is here that we source our top quality Pure Silk Filled products.

While working extensively in China we discovered the benefits of the Pure Silk Filled Doona, known locally as, miánbèi 棉被 (bed quilt) or bèizi 被子 (quilt).

The Doona known in the United States as a Comforter or Quilt, and in Europe as a Duvet or Quilt, are generally in the basic form, all the same article.
